beyerdynamic hosts Quinta seminar

UAE: German microphone specialist, beyerdynamic, took the opportunity to host a half-day seminar during the recent InfoComm MEA show for attendees to learn more about Quinta, AVB and new integration solutions from the company. A mixture of just over 30 integrators and distributors listened to a welcome address from Elmira Moraveji, sales manager MEA, who then handed over to Michael Pietschmann, head of global project management technical product support conference, to explain the product lines in more detail.

Lively debate and questions took place throughout the morning event. The schedule saw an introduction of Quinta, the fifth generation of beyerdynamic's wireless system, which also included demonstrations of the voting and TH & WA-CD features. Following this the seminar moved on to covering the Quinta AVB interface and finished with an overview of the digital interface, Coretis. The demo involved the attendees being given delegate units to participate in a voting set up.

Ms Moraveji was encouraged by the turn out. ‘We’ve seen a good mixture of distributors and consultants and not just from the UAE, attendees have come from Iran, Kuwait and Nigeria. We’ve worked hard with our distributor AVL approaching the technical people in organisations. This is quite a technical seminar but there is still a need for this kind of event ensuring that more people know about the product, where to use it and how to use it.’

AVL Electronics representative Jaroslav Sefranek concurred. ‘This is another good way for us to network with our customers and facilitates that interaction with consultants who are working with the integrators and systems engineers.’

Along with an open day at the AVL Electronics Dubai office, a two day training event will take place in November in Iran and subsequent training and seminar events within the region are planned from the company for 2016.
