beyerdynamic takes training to Nigeria

NIGERIA: beyerdynamic and its local partner, Acti-Tech, have recently hosted a pair of seminars in Lagos and Abuja. The seminar attracted more than 90 participants in Lagos while over 150 headed to Abuja.

Both seminars were split into two sections. First, Michael Pietschmann offered an overview of the manufacturer’s products and their applications. Following this, Bernd Neubauer provided technical training on wireless microphones systems. This took the form of beyerdynamic’s RF training with discussions regarding challenges in design and setup of wireless microphones in installations and live applications. Joining Mr Pietschmann and Mr Neubauer from beyerdynamic were managing director global sales and marketing Robert Winterhoff and operations manager MEA, Elmira Moraveji.

‘The participants were eager to learn. They engaged themselves in the topics and made the seminar interactive,’ noted Ms Moraveji. ‘This training not only helped the participants to add to their knowhow about our products, but also helped Acti-Tech to become known in the fields where they have not yet been active.’

With the two seminars attracting participation from broadcast companies, consultants and integrators, Ms Moraveji reflects on the events as successful. ‘Our aim was to deliver knowledge about our products and also to learn more about the Nigerian market and its potential. I thank my colleagues and our MD for supporting me in this trip.’
