Broadcast Solutions rolls into the Ashgabat Olympic Complex

TURKMENISTAN: Broadcast Solutions has confirmed the sale of two live production unit sets to Turkish construction company, Polimeks, for deployment at the Turkmenistan Ashgabat Olympic Complex. Each set consists of four vehicles, comprising an OB van, a support truck, a generator truck and an SNG.
The trucks were designed to the client’s needs, with Studer Vista 5 and Vista 1 audio mixers included. Complementing the consoles are Studer’s SCore 528x538 DSP platform along with a pair of stage boxes with 28 mic/line inputs, 16 line outs and eight AES compliant I/O serving as audio matrices.
Wireless talkback is facilitated via Riedel Communications’ Acrobat digital wireless intercom solution and RiFace universal radio interface that links wired communications systems with radio systems. Meanwhile, Riedel’s Artist 128 mainframe takes the responsibility of intercom matrix.
As a specially designed feature, the units include three stage boxes with the Mediornet Compact 50G media distribution network, as well as an SMPTE 311 cable to provide remote supply. Another couple of stage boxes have been installed for wireless cameras, also with an SMPTE 311 cable for remote supply.
Each set has been outfitted with 12 Sony HDC-2500 HD cameras, two HDC-3300 SuperMotion cameras and an i-movix X10 USM UltraMotion camera. The internal video format of the OB vans is 1080p/50 (3G-SDI) with an A/V setup designed to enable flexibility for use and integration into any production situation, while offering a maximum of four individual PGMs.
