CineTech Reels in Barco flagship laser projectors

UAE: The 22 screens of the Reel Cinemas complex in The Dubai Mall are to have their projectors replaced with Barco RGB flagship laser projectors. The project, which will be undertaken by the manufacturer’s gold partner CineTech Middle East JLT, will result in the world’s largest cinema complex to rely solely on Barco laser projectors.
CineTech will install the Barco DP4K-22L in 21 of the theatres, while the other is to be equipped with a DP4K-30L. Reel Cinemas, The Dubai Mall is also due to become the first complex in the Gulf region to be fitted with a Barco Escape format screen.
