Club Hype in Jordan installs Carvin Audio

JORDAN: Club Hype, located in Amman, Jordan, recently installed a new Carvin Audio sound reinforcement system. The selection was made after consideration of several different brands and was supplied by Solo Sound, also based in Amman.
There were several stringent requirements that the new system had to cater for. The club’s owners wanted the sound to be extremely clear, with the ability to produce high SPLs throughout the venue. Secondly, it had to have a minimal visual impact so as not to compromise the venue’s up-market aesthetics, and lastly, it had to be capable of faithfully reproducing the extreme lows dished out by today’s top DJs.
After listening to several different systems at Solo Sound, the owners opted for a Carvin Audio Column Array system, making use of eight TRx3903 Column Arrays combined with ten SCx1118 18-inch subwoofers to handle the low-end. Power and DSP was provided by 10 DCM3800Lx power amplifiers, together forming a total power output of 38,000W. An additional SCx1112 monitor wedge was chosen for use as a DJ monitor.

They immediately knew that this was the system they had been looking for.’
