Dante tops 500

WORLD: Audinate is announcing a sharp increase in the number of Dante-enabled products available worldwide. A 60 per cent rise over the last 12 months has seen the number of products from licenced manufacturers top 500.

'The 500th Dante-enabled product represents a significant milestone for Audinate and our Dante OEM partners,' stated Lee Ellison, CEO of Audinate. 'Customer research tells us that the single biggest factor when selecting an audio networking solution is the number of available products on the market. With hundreds of products launched in the last 12 months, Dante has reached the tipping point and has become the industry standard for audio-over-IP networking.'

The milestone was reached with a number of launches at IBC 2015. The likes of Solid State Logic, TSL Products, RTS, Jünger Audio and Bel Digital have all recently unveiled new Dante-enabled broadcast products, while Audinate also states that there have been several releases from the commercial install market, pro audio and public address markets.
