Datalinks invests in PR Lighting fixtures

BURKINA FASO: Datalinks has invested in several of PR Lighting’s fixtures in what marks the Ouagadougou-based pro-audio importation and technical supply company’s first foray into the lighting market.
Henri Damien, the sound engineer that operates Datalinks, was first introduced to the lighting manufacturer and its African sales manager, Lawrence Mao, at Pro Light & Sound 2013. Finally, at this year’s edition of the Frankfurt-based trade show, an order was placed that has seen Datalinks take stock of 20 XR 330 BWS moving head fixtures, 10 XLED 3019 hybrid beam projectors, 24 XPAR 348 hanging LED par fixtures, four ARC LED 3108 architectural LED fixtures and two Mega Color 4000 search lights as well as the control equipment required.
The fixtures were put to use soon after delivery as Datalinks implemented them at the Fête de la Musique concert at the Place de La Nation.
‘We are very satisfied with the purchase and the impact created by the PR Lighting products,’ Mr Damien reported. ‘We liked the quality of the products, and Mr Mao helped us assemble a good configuration.’
