dB Technologies kit for Kenyan event truck

KENYA: Sound Creations, the Kenyan distributor for dB Technologies, recently selected DVX and Flexsys active boxes to kit out an event truck.
The vehicle is decked with four DVX D15s, two S20s, two Flexsys F15s and one Flexsys F10 powered speaker, and will be used for outdoor events in the region. Nipul Shah of Nairobi-based Sound Creations explained: ‘The dB Technologies gear was chosen for its clarity; technically it’s great. Without much effort the sound travelled almost 100m, with a really good bass. It’s really easy to set up, and the price to performance ratio is a bonus too.’
Commissioned by Siqqel Holdings, the truck’s inaugural appearance was in the town of Tala earlier this month, where crowds gathered for a 'Mulika Mwizi' event. ‘Everyone was satisfied and the occasion was a great success,’ confirmed Mr Shah. ‘Our technical team are always on hand to provide back up, and it helps that the dB Technologies loudspeakers are so user-friendly.’
Mr Shah is looking forward to installing more dB Technologies boxes soon. ‘Our client is planning to buy another two trucks with our dB Technologies sound in the next two to three months,’ he said.
