DIS equipment used for Qatar Ministry of Foreign Affairs

QATAR: A Danish Interpretation Systems (DIS) DCS 6000 Series digital conference system has been installed by Zoom Art and Design at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) in Doha. The equipment was required on a very tight timescale with only two weeks between the order and the installation being completed.
This is the first time that Zoom has ordered directly from DIS. For the MOFA project it required a 24-piece DCS 6000 system to be installed on site. The order included DC 6990 P conference units with GM 6524 gooseneck mics, a CU 6011 central unit, and the SW 6000 software. Despite the very quick turnaround time, the manufacturer was able to supply all the necessary equipment from its Copenhagen HQ.
‘With our personal on-site, and remote support via PC from Copenhagen the DCS 6000 System (hard and software) was installed at MOFA in less than a day,’ recalled DIS area sales manager Chris Hellmuth. ‘For a new customer, this was pretty good!’
