DWR presenting TV lighting workshop

SOUTH AFRICA: DWR Distribution lighting designer Jannie de Jager will be hosting a television lighting workshop aimed at beginners on 23 May. The course will be held at DWR’s Johannesburg facility from 9am to 5pm and will provide attendees with an introduction to studio lighting fixtures and equipment.
The seminar will also cover lighting sources, power differences, colour temperatures, the colour rendering index, studio lighting control and protocols and typical setups. Mr de Jager has been involved in LED lighting upgrade projects for E-Tv Hyde Park, The Namibian Broadcasting Corporation and Botswana TV among others. He has also provided training and support to several local broadcasting studios, including MultiChoice, SABC and ETV.
The price of admission is R850, which includes all course materials and lunch.
