Echo Beats installs Saray Albasha

UAE: Echo Beats has supplied and installed the audio and lighting system for Saray Albasha, a restaurant, lounge and club located at the Sofitel hotel on Abu Dhabi’s corniche. The project called on audio equipment from Montarbo and Next-proaudio and lighting gear from American DJ and Elation.
Following a customer meeting at InfoComm MEA, the Echo Beats team set about designing a solution. The venue was already being decorated at the time so Echo Beats worked in partnership with the customer to produce a system that would fit the space and décor, but also provide the necessary sound levels.
The audio solution sees Montarbo Fire 15A and Fire 12A active full range speakers installed around the venue. The Italian manufacturer’s equipment is also called into action on stage with its Gravis24 amplifiers powering the E616M stage monitors.
According to Echo Beats, Saray Albasha required powerful subwoofers to meet its club remit. As such, it turned to Next-proaudio’s LAs418 double 18-inch bass reflex cabinets powered by the Portuguese manufacturer’s MQ10000 Class-H amplifiers. Completing the audio solution is a Next-proaudio DP260 two-in, six-out loudspeaker management system.
The lighting design saw a combination ADJ and Elation equipment. Saray Albasha’s setup features 22 moving heads, four PARs, 48 bars and two laser simulators. The solution is controlled by an ADJ MYDMX 2.0 via iPad.
With the project complete, Saray Albasha’s management is reportedly very happy with the end result. Following this installation, the customer has returned to Echo Beats to discuss work at a further two venues.
