eclipse Group’s HSE Manager gains OSH registered status

UAE: Manu Abraham, HSE manager at eclipse Group, has become a registered Occupational Health and Safety Professional as per the requirements of Occupational Safety & Health Abu Dhabi (OSHAD) as part of the Qudorat Program.
OSHAD set up the Qudorat Program to electronically register and evaluate the competency and experience of those working in health and safety within the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. The programme was developed in conjunction with international best practices and OSHAD practitioner status has become mandatory for health and safety professionals in Abu Dhabi.
‘I am glad to see that Abu Dhabi is taking these steps to increase the quality of their health and safety practice, and hope that the other Emirates follow suit,’ said Mr Abraham. ‘Our aim within the eclipse HSE department is to continually raise awareness about the importance of creating safe working conditions in our industry, and this puts us one step closer.’
