eclipse wins first SPIA event supplier award

MIDDLE EAST: eclipse Staging Services was named as the inaugural Event Supplier of the Year at the recent Sports Industry Awards (SPIA). The award was presented for the rental company’s work in supplying the full rigging, lighting, power distribution and video solutions at the BWF Dubai World Superseries Finals.
‘We are delighted to be the first company to win the SPIA Event Supplier of the Year, and we look forward to entering again next year,’ enthused Martin Lubach, general manager of eclipse Staging Services. ‘Winning this award is an acknowledgement of the work we do aside from the large-scale festivals and concerts, confirming that we truly are a well-rounded event supplier.’
On a related note, eclipse has also been shortlisted in four categories for the upcoming Middle East Event and Exhibition Awards (MEES). Those categories are for Best Supplier of the Year, Best Employer of the Year, Best Light and Sound Production and Best Event Video Solution. ‘The competition for this year’s MEES Awards is as strong as ever after an interesting season in the events industry,’ Mr Lubach commented.
