Elit equips Volkswagen Arena

TURKEY: The Volkswagen Arena at Uniq Istanbul has been equipped with an audio solution from Elit Light/Sound Technologies. The setup comes into play when the venue is in its basketball configuration.
As well as being a multi-purpose venue which has been acoustically designed to host amplified music, the Volkswagen Arena is also the home court of Darussafaka Dogus. As such, the venue required a sound system to cover the stands. To achieve this, it turned to Elit to supply solutions from two of its brands.
In terms of the loudspeakers, the Istanbul-based distributor has supplied the venue with L-Acoustics Arcs Wide and Arcs Focus enclosures. Low end is courtesy of SB18M cabinets while power is from LA4X amplifiers. Control is in the form of a 64-channel Avid S3L-X Pro Tools console.
