Elit scales Kilimanjaro

TURKEY: The recently opened Kilimanjaro bar and restaurant in Istanbul’s Bomontiada has been equipped with an L-Acoustics sound system. The solution was supplied by the manufacturer’s local distributor, Elit Light/Sound Technologies.
The solution comprises six of the manufacturer’s 12XTi cabinets installed on the walls either side of the bar with low end via three SB18 subs hidden in waitress stations. The solution is powered by an LA8 amplifier.
According to the distributor the 12XTi cabinets were selected as the sound is ‘clear and sensitive’ while the SB18 provided a ‘high performance and compact’ option for subwoofers. As for the amplifier, Elit believes that these have helped to give the venue an ‘assertive music experience’.
