Excite Middle East forms launch pad for Barco

UAE: Barco will use Excite Middle East to launch its UDX 4K laser phosphor projectors, F90 4K laser phosphor projector, F70 projector and R10 bendable LED display. The event, which is hosted at Dubai’s Versace hotel, has been organised by the Belgian manufacturer in partnership with D3, EventAgrate and Da-lite and will take place on April 25 and 26.
Excite Middle East runs from 7pm each day and offers an evening of product demonstrations and networking. The first day is aimed at the events community while day two targets systems integrators.
The UDX series launch will be one of nine taking place at the event. UDX is aimed at large venues and has reportedly been developed after extensive market research. ‘Easy shipment, setup and maintenance, vivid colours, flexible brightness and resolution and compatibility with existing TLD lenses were the top requirements, when we talked to customers,’ said Eric Brouwers, VP Middle East at Barco. ‘The new 4K laser phosphor UDX projector ticks all the boxes. Visitors will be amazed at its brightness and power, while it’s really quick to install too.’
Alongside the UDX, F90 and F70 projectors and R10 display, Barco will also use the event to highlight its Event Master presentation switchers: E2, S3, and EC 200. Meanwhile, D3 will be showcasing its new GX Range and Da-lite will highlight its FullVision HD Progressive and Fast-Fold NXT solutions.
Experts will be flying from Barco’s headquarters in Belgium to present the projectors and to explain together with local colleagues in Dubai how they ‘enable bright outcomes’ in the entertainment market.
