Exterity appoints Brian Moyo for Sub-Saharan Africa

AFRICA: Taking the title pre-sales engineer, Brian Moyo has been appointed by IP video specialist Exterity, focusing on Sub-Saharan Africa. Mr Moyo, who boasts five years’ experience in the VoIP and networking sector, is described by the company as bringing ‘a wealth of technical knowledge and expertise’ to his new role.

Prior to joining Exterity, Mr Moyo held technical engineering positions at Guroo and BitCo Communication. He has also previously worked with internet providers in Zimbabwe and South Africa. His appointment follows the 2014 opening of Exterity’s office in Johannesburg, and subsequent partnerships with distributor SpaceTV and channel partners including Dimension Data, Global Access, Panavision and Conian.

‘Sub-Saharan Africa is quickly turning into a high growth market for enterprise IP video and Exterity has already recognised the importance of the region by opening local offices in Johannesburg and partnering with highly reputable integrators,’ commented Exterity CEO Colin Farquhar. ‘Brian has a thorough understanding of the technological landscape in the region, making him a very valuable addition to our on-the-ground team.’
