First Middle East SAE graduate lectures at SAE Jordan

JORDAN: Joseph Habib CEO of acoustic and sound system design consultancy, Cadacoustics Egypt, returned to SAE Jordan between the 15th and 20th August as a lecturer on acoustics.
Mr Habib was the first in the Middle East to graduate from the SAE (London branch) in 1987 and has since been keen to help educate SAE students in the region. The course covered architectural acoustics in musical applications and design as an introductory level to the Professional Diploma Students. This included sessions on a range of subjects from the basic rules of acoustic treatment and understanding the physics behind it to designing listening environments for different room types, as well as in studio evaluation of acoustics and how can you work with existing acoustical room behavior.
The workshop was a great success. Mr Habib had lectured on psycho-acoustics to the first group of SAE Jordan students last year, and two of that graduating class were keen to return for his workshop this year too.
