Gamma Engineering purchases HME intercom system

MIDDLE EAST: NMK Electronics, the distributor of Clear-Com and HME in the Middle East, has supplied a DX300ES wireless intercom communication system to Gamma Engineering, a leading film and TV equipment rental house in the region.

For more than 20 years, Gamma Engineering has been heavily involved in the motion picture industry in the Middle East, through its offices in Beirut and Dubai. The purchased DX300ES system – which includes one MB300ES base station, three BP300 beltpacks and pouches, five HS15 noise-cancelling headsets and two base station antennas – provides the company with a hands-free two-channel mobile intercom system enabling it to quote for larger production crews, or for crews in busy environments that need to make use of the full 2.4GHz operating frequency range. Additionally, Gamma has also acquired a further two BP300 beltpacks with HS15 headsets and a MB300ES base station.

‘I strongly believe that Gamma Engineering will be pleased with the portability and functionality of DX300ES system. The system is highly suitable for outdoor environments and production companies that move around constantly,’ commented Abdul Hadi, HME/Clear-Com product specialist. ‘The system operates on the license free frequency of 2.4 GHz and supports up to 15 users who are able to select all or part of the operating frequency.’
