Gearhouse Group introduces the tech of “tomorrow”

SOUTH AFRICA: Gearhouse Group recently invited 600 of its clients and suppliers to a launch event that was staged within the inaugural build of Gearhouse In2Structures’ Maxi Dome Lite Venue. As well as introducing those in attendance to the bespoke temporary structure that it was housed in, the event showcased a range of the company’s newest technologies including the latest products on offer from Gearhouse brand LEDVision and featured performances from South African artists The Kiffness, Matthew Mole and The Musos, while comedian Jason Goliath served as MC.

The Maxi Dome Lite was used in its three-bay configuration resulting in a venue that was 27m wide x 40m long. Guests reportedly stepped inside from the ‘hot and dusty Bezuidenhout Valley car park into the climate-controlled, theatrical environment’ that the temporary venue provided. Gearhouse used the event to demonstrate how the structures are easy to construct with 700Mpa steel adding increased strength and explained that six-bay build can accommodate 700 people in a banquet setting or 1,450 in a theatre-style seating environment.

A panoramic 23m wide x 7m high LED screen with a 3mm curve was deployed by LEDVision and ran across the venue. Sections of the interior walls were decorated with ROE LED Strips, whilst A/V content was also displayed on 16:9 screens setup throughout all three bays.

An iMira ultra slim portable signage display was implemented to greet guests in the reception area. This product is the latest addition to the portfolio of Gearhouse System Solutions. Following the launch, Gearhouse Group has reported many clients asking for quotations during the event itself and therefore deems it a success.
