GSL restructures

MIDDLE EAST: Dubai-based distributor, GSL Professional, has announced a new company structure. The restructuring sees the establishment of two new application specific divisions, plus the expansion of the territory covered through its distribution arm.
Starting with the expansion, GSL Pro Middle East has been awarded exclusive distribution for further territories for the Harman Professional stable of audio products. The distributor now covers the UAE, Qatar, Oman, Kuwait, Bahrain, Jordan and Iraq for Harman’s AKG, BSS, Crown, dbx, JBL, Lexicon and Soundcraft brands. GSL states that it recognises this as ‘an opportunity for us to meet and exceed client expectations’ and it is ‘committed to ensuring extensive local stock for prompt, hassle-free delivery along with providing professional warranty and out-of-warranty product repair in the new service department’.
The creation of the new divisions sees the introduction of GSL Professional Projects and GSL Professional Entertainment. GSL Professional Projects is aimed at installed project support and has been established to provide high level technical and design support for hospitality, houses of worship, restaurants and bars, theme parks, transportation, education, stadia and arenas and professional recording and broadcast. Meanwhile GSL Professional Entertainment has been formed to meet the requirements of portable sound, tour sound, home recording and small commercial audio solutions.
GSL will use the two divisions to ensure a wider awareness of Harman technology and resulting products and solutions throughout the region in the form of training events, product demonstrations, conferences, trade shows, supporting application guides and technical notes.
