GSL sees EN54 demand

UAE: GSL Professional is highlighting its stock of EN54-certified products from JBL as a way it is meeting demand from local integrators for products that meet the safety standard.
The distributor is reportedly seeing a growing need from customers for products that meet the European fire alarm standard and believes the expanded range of JBL products that are EN54-certified will prove popular. The Harman-owned brand has recently added four new members to its range of EN54-certified ceiling speakers.
‘It is important for consultants and contractors to have access to a wide range of varied products when designing and installing systems for their various applications,’ said GSL GM, Sam Brandon. ‘With the introduction of the EN54 standard, this range of products was reduced significantly. These new JBL products add a professional quality ceiling loudspeaker category to the designers’ toolbox. Especially useful for combined PA/VA systems.’
