IABM names MENA director

MENA: Hassan Ghoul has been appointed to the newly created position of MENA director at the IABM. Mr Ghoul has 30 years’ experience in the broadcast and media technology industries within the region, having worked for the likes of Grass Valley, ATG, Ascent Media, Tevido and Sony Professional.
Mr Ghoul’s brief covers delivery of the full range of IABM member services and support to vendors, as well as business development to increase IABM membership in the region. He will be fronting IABM’s presence at Cabsat in March.
‘Our industry is undergoing massive, transformational changes at present, which are creating unprecedented challenges for broadcast and media technology vendors and their customers in all markets, including MENA,’ said Mr Ghoul. ‘The IABM can play a crucial role in helping our members to navigate these fast-moving waters successfully, and I am looking forward to supporting current and potential new members in their efforts to deliver effective solutions to the industry in the MENA region.’
