Komtech proves popular in Abu Dhabi

UAE: A VIP boardroom in Abu Dhabi has been equipped with customised connector panels featuring motorised retractors from Komtech Kommunikationstechnik GmbH. The panels were installed by local systems integrator AGC through the German manufacturer’s local representative, Vivid AV Media.
The VIP boardroom project has seen the Komtech panels and Arthur Holm screens installed into a customised table from JMM. Each of the eight installed T-300 panels feature a pair of 230V plug sockets and two USB-A sockets. The panels feature cables with VGA-Audio, HDMI and RJ-45 connectors controlled via three illuminated pushbuttons.
‘Our systems integrator, AGC, has done an outstanding job and as usual in this region we all had to fight against a tight deadline,’ said Vivid AV Media’s Chris Hellmuth, the manufacturer’s local representative. ‘Komtech has two prestigious references in Abu Dhabi and for sure there’s more to come. We want to provide “Made in Germany” connector panels for installations where standard panels simply don’t serve the end user’s expectations.’
