Lawo makes changes to product management team

WORLD: Lawo has strengthened its team of product managers with the appointment of Axel Kern as senior product manager on air radio.
Mr Kern was most recently product manager at Soundcraft Studer in Switzerland where, amongst other tasks, he was responsible for Studer’s successful ‘OnAir’ mixing consoles. ‘I am looking forward to new challenges at Lawo,’ said Mr Kern. ‘Lawo is playing an increasingly important international role, and it is very exciting for me to contribute creatively to this success.’
Vincenz Riffeser has been promoted to product manager routing systems, responsible for Lawo’s Nova matrix series. Before his move to Lawo, Mr Riffeser worked in Ireland as a senior A/V installation engineer, and then as project manager for a well-known A/V engineering office and contractor.
These product management positions became vacant after Ulrich Schnabl, the previous senior on air and routing systems product manager, joined the general management team, taking on the recently created position of executive assistant to the CEO. He knows that the product lines he was previously responsible for are in good hands, and so Mr Schnabl is looking forward to his new range of duties. ‘It gives me the possibility, beyond my previous role, to apply my multidisciplinary experience for the benefit of the company and our customers.’
