Marwan Shehab joins Voddler during MEA expansion

MEA: Video streaming solutions manufacturer, Voddler Group, has hired Marwan Shehab as the head of its Middle East and Africa (MEA) operations. The appointment forms part of the cloud-streaming company’s MEA expansion strategy that has recently seen it open a new office at Jumeirah Lake Towers in Dubai.

Mr Shehab’s role will be to further drive the Voddler’s expansion plans throughout the region. Previously, he has held multiple strategic roles with pay-TV platforms, the most recent of which was at Dubai based telecommunication company, du. He has also served as content management and platforms director at Emirates International Telecommunications (EITL), held specialised sales and consultancy roles across the USA, UK and Europe, and possesses a Bachelor’s Degree in radio and television communications from The George Washington University.

‘Marwan is a highly respected and connected individual, which makes him a fantastic addition to Voddler’s team as we expand our reach in the MEA region,’ said Voddler Group CEO, Adam Lewis. ‘He brings with him extensive knowledge of the region stemming from a broad range of experience across the telecommunications, Pay TV and OTT spaces, which will directly benefit our customers.’
