UAE: Dubai-based MI and pro audio company Melody House has made its first sale of DPA microphones since being announced as the manufacturer’s UAE distributor.
The sale was to Almoe Digital AV Systems based in Abu Dhabi and comprised of for four DPA 4080 miniature cardioid lavalier mics to be used in its project at the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi. ‘When comparing DPA microphones in a blindfold test, the DPA’s were clear leaders of the pack,’ said Almoe’s Jason Rouzaire. ‘This was a perfect microphone to use in such a high profile job.’
‘We are very happy to announce our first sale as a DPA distributor, particularly as it is for such a high-profile project,’ said Dino Drimakis, sales manager at Melody House. ‘We hope this is the first of many DPA sales for Melody House.’
Melody House was appointed as DPA’s UAE distributor in July. The appointment is part of a rebranding process that will see Melody House move more into the pro audio sector to complement its MI roots.
