Meyer Sound hosts Abu Dhabi demos

UAE: Meyer Sound recently hosted a series of Leopard demos in Abu Dhabi. The series took place at the Creative Communications Group (CCG) warehouse in the city and was reportedly the first time the manufacturer had done a demonstration of this category and format in the Middle East.
The event took place over two days at the end of November and saw companies from Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, the UAE, Jordan and Lebanon invited for private demos. ‘The setup was at CCG’s warehouse in Abu Dhabi and it was 100 per cent acoustically fitted for the demo,’ said Mauricio Saint Martin, director of Middle East sales for Meyer Sound. ‘The customer comments were very satisfactory, they had never experienced something so well done. We used some recorded tracks and a live drummer, the system performed amazingly and everyone was blown away with the power and clarity of Leopard.’
The event also appears to have been a commercial success with at least three Leopard sales reported as a direct result. As such, the manufacturer is planning to host similar demos in the region in the near future.
