Mikafon equips Istanbul Aquarium

TURKEY: The new Istanbul Aquarium has been equipped with a sound system from local company Mikafon. The project, which was done in conjunction with Corvus Technologies, has seen Mikafon’s Spekon own-brand wall and ceiling speakers used throughout the aquarium and adjoining mall along with microphones from beyerdynamic.
Mikafon describes the installation as not requiring a complicated system. Around 200 ceiling speakers were installed into a number of different zones. Price was the main concern for the project, hence the selection of a lower-cost brand for the speakers.
