New rental company opts for Harman

UAE: Newly created rental production company Events House has selected an extensive Harman Professional PA system for a wide variety of productions including local Arabic weddings.
The Dubai-based company, which is headed by Mohamad Al Tajjar and Mohamad Radwan Zarki, undertook a long evaluation of the market before opting for the Harman system. Acquired from GSL Professional – the Harman Pro distributor for the UAE – the system means that Events House can now cater to any size of venue or number of people, the company reports.
At the heart of the system is a Soundcraft Si3 console, which was selected to handle FOH and monitor mixing, together with dbx Driverack 4800 signal processing, equalisation and limiting including an IEQ31 unit. For larger events, a JBL VerTec VT4888 line array augmented by VT4882 subwoofers has been selected, powered by networked Crown MacroTech 5000, 9000 and 12000i amplifiers. For monitoring and smaller events the company has opted for JBL SRX722F, SRX728F, PRX512M and VRX915M speaker systems powered by Crown MacroTech 3600VZ, 5002VZ and XTI6000 amplifiers. A selection of Shure wired and wireless microphones were also acquired from NMK Electronics.
