Patio Luanda installs Next-proaudio

ANGOLA: Patio Luanda has been equipped with a Next-proaudio sound system. The restaurant and events venue was reportedly looking for a system that could offer high SPLs, reliability, an aesthetic design and high sound fidelity throughout the venue.
Patio Luanda turned to the manufacturer’s representative in the country Julio Cardoso to design and install the system. To meet the venue’s needs, he suggested Next-proaudio’s PX system for the main PA and Lam112x monitors on stage.
The complete solution comprises eight PXH64 two-way horn-loaded mid/high speaker with 16 PXL118 18-inch hybrid-horn subwoofers and powered by eight PXA8000. The solution is supplemented with six coaxial bi-amplified LAm112x monitors on stage. The stage monitors are powered by the MQ10000 amplifiers and processing is handled by the manufacturer’s LMS242.
‘The project was designed and conceived to satisfy all the needs of Patio Luanda including live performances as well as DJ performances,’ said Mr Cardoso. ‘In the case of live performances they will use two PX systems as the main, one PX for sidefill and another for the delays. Thanks to their versatility and easy installation, the PX system allows Patio Luanda to change the position of the stacks depending on the event. If they plan to use the systems for DJs, each PX system can be placed in the corners of the room, covering the entire space uniformly and concentrating a huge sound pressure in the centre.’
Patio Luanda was opened with a performance by international singer, Yuri da Cunha.
