Proltye rigging workshop returns to South Africa

SOUTH AFRICA: DWR Distribution has announced that it will be holding the Prolyte rigging and training course at both its Cape Town and Johannesburg offices in February 2017 in conjunction with both Prolyte and Rhino Rigs. Those interested in attending the week-long workshop must be competent in mathematics, and will receive 48 Sacia CPD points upon competition of the course.

Five days of training will be presented by Rinus Bakker and will cover topics including: safety, machinery and equipment, maintenance, lifting materials, force calculations and load tables, among others. The training in Cape Town will take place at Unit D74, Platinum Junction Park, 4 School Street, Milnerton, Marconi Beam from 6-11 February 2017. The Johannesburg portion of the training will take place the following week from 13-18 February 2017 at DWR Distribution, Kimbult Industrial Park, 9 Zeiss Road, Laser Park, Honeydew.

The cost of the training is R3,900 Those wishing to attend must secure their position with a 50 per cent deposit and should provide a calculator, 2m rope of 6mm thickness, and a red and black pen. For more information and to reserve a place, contact rsvp@dwrdistribution.co.za.
