Prolyte meets with DWR in Johannesburg

SOUTH AFRICA: Date Jonkman, Prolyte's key account manager for Europe and North Africa, has travelled to Johannesburg to visit with clients and the company's regional distributor DWR Distribution. This was Mr Jonkman’s first visit to South Africa as he temporarily fills in for Paul-Erik Haseloop in the role of director, new business and key account management.
‘We met up with lots of clients, and I felt very comfortable with them,’ he said. ‘Typically when you walk into a rental company, no matter if it’s based in Africa or Europe, the people are always the same.’
Mr Jonkman has been with Prolyte since 2002, with a background in the hotel industry and as a DJ. ‘Like many other people in this industry, I was a DJ at the time, playing records. That’s how I came to meet the former owner of Prolyte. I was out for three years, and came back in 2010,’ he explained.
Sales director for DWR, Robert Izzett, has met with Mr Jonkman multiple times. ‘He is an amazing guy and we appreciate the visit,’ he commented.
