PTO equips Shahrekord’s cultural centre

IRAN: Pezhvak Taban Ofogh (PTO) was contracted to install the audio, visual and lighting systems, as well as the decorations for a pair of auditoria at the Shahrekord cultural centre in the Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Province. The 42,000m2 venue is part of a local cultural project and comprises conference halls, a digital centre, a library, classrooms, galleries and workshops in addition to the two auditoria, which are used for staging a wide array of events, from concerts, television shows and theatrical productions to meetings and ceremonies.

The auditoria seat 1,200 and 300 people respectively. In the larger of the two, PTO deployed an RCF line-array solution comprising 10 TTL33-A cabinets, four TTL31-A modules and four TTS18-A subwoofers. These are joined by four FBT HIMaxX 60a speakers, an Allen & Heath GLD-80 mixer, an RCF DX 4008 processor, a Fostex D2424LV Mk2 24-track digital multitrack recorder and Sennheiser microphone systems of both the wired and wireless variety.

On the visual side, a Panasonic PT-EX16K data projector and screen, HE-50 PTZ cameras and AW-RP50 keyboard cam control, Aten splitters and switchers, and Blackmagic Design’s Atem 1 M/E Production Studio 4K and Hyperdeck Studio Pro were delivered. For lighting, a DTS lighting system was set up.

In the 300-seat auditorium, a DTS lighting system has been installed along with a Montarbo sound system.

‘Due to a heavy workload and the size of this building, finishing the project on time seemed like a challenge,’ said M J Aghashiri, CEO of PTO. ‘However, our execution team did a wonderful job to complete this installation right on time for the opening ceremony. We are sure that by using professional sound and light systems, these auditoria will offer exceptional atmospheres for meetings, concerts and plays to the great people of Shahrekord.’
