QV54 banks on Robe

SOUTH AFRICA: The Bank at QV54 in Cape Town has opened with a lighting solution from Robe. Gűnter Boisits, operations and financial manager for venue owner, The Nava Group, specified the manufacturer’s MiniMes and miniPointe fixtures following dialogue with Bradley Bruchhausen from Robe’s local partner, DWR Distribution.

The solution at The Bank calls on four MiniMes and two miniPointes, together with some LED Pars, which are run from a Dell OptiPlex touch screen system and Avolites Titan Mobile. ‘We were really impressed by the gobos and the video mapping capabilities of the MiniMes,’ said Mr Boisits, who also described the miniPointes as ‘small and very versatile’.

DWR helped with the initial programming and setup to help the venue get open. Following the initial months of operation, the venue is now reportedly looking to add to its lighting rig with more miniPointes and a laser.
