Radisson Blu goes with Harman

TURKEY: SF Ses ve Işık Sistemleri A.Ş was recently called in to install the sound solution and the newly-built and soon-to-open Radisson Blu hotel in Diyarbakir. The systems integrator deployed a variety of products from Harman’s portfolio of brands, including JBL, AKG, BSS, dbx, Crown and Soundcraft across two meeting rooms, a ballroom and the spa/fitness area.
In the ballroom, 16 JBL Control 16C/T ceiling speakers and six JBL Control 19CS in-ceiling subwoofers were integrated. These are powered by Crown XLS amplifiers and processed via BSS Blu-100 signal processors. AKG microphones were also supplied, as well as PRX series speakers and Soundcraft mixers that will be brought out during special events, such as live performances and at weddings.
Along the ceiling of the spa and fitness area, JBL 8124 speakers are employed, along with Crown CT8150 amplifiers, BSS Blu-3 control panels, Blu-Bib break out boxes and Blu-GPX network-controlled GPIO expanders. The meeting rooms, meanwhile, have been equipped with JBL Control 25-1 speakers, dbx processors and Crown Xli Series amplifiers.
‘The installation took approximately four weeks and we did not face any difficulties,’ said Ferhan Kayral, CTO at SF. ‘The customer is very happy with the results.’
