René Harder joins StageTec management board

WORLD: Long-term StageTec team member René Harder has been officially announced as the latest member of the board of StageTec Entwicklungsgesellschaft in Berlin. He replaces Dr Klaus-Peter Scholz, one of the founders of the company and a highly respected industry figure who was widely regarded as a pioneer of digital audio technology.

The news follows the October 2013 announcement of Dr Scholz’s retirement. At the time he was described as having ‘shaped the company’s image’, using his ‘in-depth knowledge of digital audio to act as the interface between technical development and distribution’. He is also well-known amongst the manufacturer’s user-base, often advising customers on-site during installations and providing technical consulting.

Mr Harder will now adopt a similar role, acting as the main contact for StageTec customers and as a liaison between development and sales. The 38 year old computer science graduate began his career at StageTec in 2003, taking up a role in the company’s product development department before later becoming assistant manager.

‘I consider it a personal challenge to support the company in this position and make it even stronger in the long term,’ Mr Harder commented.
