SAE Dubai partners with BM Audio

UAE: SAE Dubai and BM Audio have formed a partnership to give students at the institute experience using equipment from Avalon Design and Brauner Mics.
‘We are looking at partnering with Avalon where we have moments in our course where we bring in a couple of units into the studios for the students to use and for us to demonstrate how the sound between the microphones and the preamps work together,’ explained Alex Gehrig, head of SAE Institute Dubai. ‘With Avalon being such a prominent provider of pro audio products, everyone has heard of it and is very eager to play around with them.’
The relationship will see BM Audio provide the SAE with VT-737sp, VT-747sp and U5 units from Avalon as well as a Brauner Phantom Classic Microphone. There will also be an agreement where students are able to get preferential prices on equipment through BM Audio.
‘What we are working on right now is building a relationship with BM Audio where students have access to special discounts for Avalon and Brauner products so that in the future they will have the technical knowhow to work with the units,’ said Mr Gehrig. ‘It’s all about awareness in terms of Avalon and Brauner. They are tapping into the student base who eventually will be consumers of pro audio.’
