Sharjah TV adds Axient

UAE: Sharjah TV has installed Shure’s Axient wireless system to cover its broadcast studios. The solution was purchased through Middle East Axient distributor, NMK Electronics Ent.
The system purchased by Sharjah TV consists of six channels of AXT400 receiver units, six AXT100 Axient bodypack transmitters and four AXT200 Axient handheld frequency diversity transmitters with KSM9 capsules. The complete system, including Spectrum Manager, Show link Access point, Rechargeable solution, Antenna distribution and a road-ready wireless Ethernet switch, offers the complete Axient features.
‘Axient is a perfect solution that addresses the issues involved in high-density RF environments. The system manages transmitters, receivers, antenna systems, the RF spectrum itself, even the batteries you’ll use,’ commented Shajahan KK, Shure product manager at NMK Electronics. ‘The capability to fix the problems, before the user even knows there’s a problem, is incomparable.’
‘Our engineers are very satisfied with the great sound quality of the system,’ commented Sharjah TV’s Khaled Al Shehi. ‘The Axient key features such as interference detection and avoidance, transmitter remote control or frequency diversity make our job easier in difficult RF conditions.’
Since its establishment in 1989, by Dr Shaikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Sharjah TV has been deeply concerned with the Arabic language and national identity. It highlights both environment and community issues, and follows up the country’s activities, giving special attention to family, children, and non-Arab community residing in the UAE. Sharjah TV broadcasts programmes that address social problems and traditional restrictions.
