Showtech turns to Harman for Arijit Singh concert

UAE: Showtech recently served as the sole technical services provider as Arijit Singh performed a concert at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre, which saw the renowned Indian playback singer collaborate with Pakistani “King of Pop” Muhammad Ali Shehki as well as a symphony orchestra. To reinforce the large number of musicians onstage, Showtech provided a variety of equipment from Harman Professional’s portfolio of brands, all of which are distributed in the region by GSL Pro.
Handling the mixing duties for the show was a Soundcraft 12-channel mixer, along with two Vi6 Surfaces and a pair of Vi7000 Surfaces. The loudspeaker setup comprised JBL enclosures including 73 cabinets from the VTX Series, two EON 515XT and six VRX915M monitors. Amplification was via four Crown I-Tech12000HD and four I-Tech 9000HD amplifiers.
Showtech also supplied 20 sets of AKG K44 and 12 pairs of K72 headphones as well as the equipment for the visual elements of the show.
