SLS puts new screens to the test

UAE: Following the news of its purchase of 200 sq-m of Absen A3 LED screens, Dubai-based rental house, SLS Production, has put its latest purchase to the test at the Sharjah Book Fair. The rental company covered all of the A/V needs for the opening ceremony, seminars and workshops.
The new Absen inventory was put to use for the opening ceremony. It was split into three separate screens - one central main screen measuring 20m wide x 5m high and a pair of 12m x 3.5m inner side screens. In addition, the rental house used its existing stock of Absen A6 LED for the two outer side screens which measured 14m wide x 3.5m high.
The event was honoured by the presence of H.H. Dr Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member Ruler of Sharjah, Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, Shaikh Abdullah bin Salem Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Ahmed bin Rakkad Al Ameri, Chairman of the Sharjah Book Authority (SBA).
According to SLS, the event had ‘an impressive technical requirement’ and was the kind of project that it ‘gets excited about’. While there were some challenges and short deadlines, the SLS team delivered what it describes as ‘a successful and impressive event’.
