Sound Creations and Homeboyz at the 14th Koroga Festival

KENYA: Koroga Festival is an event staged by Capital FM 98.8 every two or three months at Nariobi’s Arboretum Gardens. The recent 14th edition, in addition to celebrating African music, food and culture, coincided with the radio station’s 20th birthday.
To provide the technical equipment at the festival, Sound Creations Limited partnered once again with rental company Homeboyz Entertainment Ltd. Delivering sound reinforcement during sets from artists such as Gilad, who performed with his son Omer, were arrays of five dBTechnologies T12 cabinets and two DVA S1518N subwoofers per side, with a further two T12s deployed as stage-fills. Eight S30s served as stage monitors and an Avid Venue SC48 mixer controlled the levels from a series of Shure microphones. Completing the setup were JBL PRX 400 speakers, a Yamaha keyboard and fixtures from PR Lighting.
