Standalone InfoComm MEA draws trade association involvement

MEA: The first standalone edition of InfoComm MEA will see participation from various trade associations including the Association of Professional Interior Designers and the Middle East Council of Shopping Centers. The various associations will use the show’s conference as a platform to share wisdom, expertise, experience, observations, challenges and projections.
‘Increasingly, the world is going the way of intelligent buildings, and these will have to be powered by superior pro-A/V and ICT systems,’ said David Macadam, Middle East Council of Shopping Centres CEO. ‘InfoComm MEA provides exposure and access to the best of these in one concerted event. MECSC is certain to draw upon the expertise at IFMEA 2016 in our drive to enhance the shopping centre experience in the Middle East.’
‘From generating ideas, to crystallising concepts and actual execution of interior design plans, we can always leverage on the best that pro-A/V and ICT has to offer,’ added Renae Hewitt, director, Association of Professional Interior Designers. ‘IFMEA 2016 is a platform to take advantage of the latest technologies and products on offer, and to augment our own offerings in the interior design arena.’
The tradeshow will be a standalone event for the first time in 2016 having been co-located with Gitex for the previous five editions. ‘As a standalone exhibition, InfoComm MEA 2016 will draw the firm focus of industry stakeholders and technology end-users,’ said Richard Tan, executive director of InfoCommAsia, the show’s organiser. ‘The new scenario will be a conducive setting for visitors to explore and examine ideas in depth with exhibitors – ideas that will take their businesses to the forefront of their respective industries. The new arrangement will also facilitate easier access for participants to accommodation, to the exhibition, and even to particular exhibitors on the show floor.’
InfoComm MEA takes place at the Dubai World Trade Centre from December 6th to 8th 2016.
