TechnoPro uses PR Lighting for two events in Doha

December proved a busy month as nearly 150 of the Chinese manufacturer’s flagship products were deployed by local distributors, TechnoPro LLC (Qatar) for the 2nd World Innovation Summit for Education(WISE) in Doha.

The three-day event, which was officially opened by His Excellency Sheikh Abdulla bin Ali Al-Thani, Chairman of WISE, in the presence of Her Highness Sheikha Moza bint Nasser, Chairperson of Qatar Foundation, was attended by over 1,000 delegates from different countries.

European event management company Auditiore designed and managed the production, which was held in eight different ballrooms within the Sheraton Resort and Convention Hotel. They, in turn, tasked TechnoPro with providing a complete technical infrastructure, including audio, light, and video equipment.

 The company relied on its PR Lighting inventory to meet the design, created by French lighting designer, Alexandre Lebrun. Distributed among the various ballrooms and main Plenary function area were 16 PR XL-700 Spot; 24 PR XL-700 Wash; 34 PR XL-1200 Wash; 36 PR XL-1200 Spot; 22 PR XL-Beam 300 and eight PR XLED-590 LED washlights.

 TechnoPro opted for Meyer Sound to meet the audio requirements for the summit. The total solution deployed around the various halls consisted of 24 M'elodie line array speakers, 36 UPJ-1P boxes, 12 UP-Junior cabinets and 33 UPM-1P enclosures.

 The week before, TechnoPro supplied lighting to help Qatar celebrate its winning bid for the FIFA 2022 World Cup. The day after the decision was announced, the Qataris took to the streets to celebrate, staging a party down by the Corniche in Doha. TechnoPro lit up the occasion by providing 12 Mega Color 4000 architectural outdoor fixtures and 24 XLED 590’s.
