Tendzone installed in Algeria

ALGERIA: Spanish systems integrator, Sonimedia, has recently completed an installation at the Sofitel Hamma Garden hotel in Algiers to equip its conference rooms with A/V control and distribution. The company opted for Tendzone’s Solon Series for the processing and routing of audio signals.

Sonimedia has equipped the hotel’s Salle Aures with a Solon 32A while the Salle Atlas has a Solon 20A. The equipment was supplied through the manufacturer’s Spanish distributor Media-Sys and handled in conjunction with engineering company Amara.

Away from the Tendzone side, all devices are controlled by Command Fusion media control systems and A/V signal transmission is carried out by using Purelink extenders and Luxi presenters. The wall connection plates are manufactured by Komtech.

The conference room setup has been created with an HDBaseT infrastructure. As such, cabling was a vital element and Sonimedia opted for HNCPRO from SCP for the HDBaseT side. Completing the cabling portion of the project, the systems integrator decided to use Mogami cables for audio.

‘The worst component defines the quality level,’ said Amara projects engineer, Christian Sena. ‘When using high quality processors like Solon, you are required to use the best cable for maximum performance.’
