Tendzone licenses Dante

WORLD: Tendzone has signed a licensing agreement with Audinate to develop products using its patented Dante digital audio networking technology. This agreement will facilitate the development of interoperability between the Dante digital audio networking technology and Tendzone’s proprietary Midis networking technology.
Tendzone continues to develop and improve its technology to keep pace with the latest demands in digital signal processing. ‘A higher bit rate, lower latency, greater bandwidth, significantly more channels, and interoperability with established audio industry protocols are vital,’ said Peter Er, Tendzone’s head of international sales. ‘The addition of the Dante interface will vastly improve compatibility between our products and those of others.’
‘Tendzone offers an extensive product portfolio of amps, speakers, processors and routers. The addition of Dante will offer their customers a broader range of connectivity options to choose from,’ added Dave Anderson, sales director of Audinate. ‘We are excited to partner with Tendzone as a new Dante licensee.’
Tendzone has announced that the Dante digital audio networking protocol will also be integrated into its latest version of the Midis system, known as E-Media. The new E-Media system will offer all of the features as the original Midis, but in a more compact, rack-mountable form factor.
