Transradio and Ampegon win Algerian AM project

ALGERIA: Télédiffusion d’Algérie (TDA) has selected Transradio and Ampegon to modernise two mediumwave transmission stations in Bechar and Oulet Fayed. All the antenna modernisation works will be carried out by the Ampegon team in Germany and will use Transradio Tram line 400kW and 600kW mediumwave transmitters.
‘Transradio has a long history in Algeria with its Tram line transmitters,’ said Jochen Huber, CEO of Transradio. ‘The award for the second high power project within some months demonstrates again the common strength of our cooperation with Ampegon.’
