MIDDLE EAST: Dubai-based distributor VV & Sons has been named as the Australian Monitor master distributor for the Middle East. The agreement builds on the current relationship between the two firms and will cover all of the Middle East and parts of Africa.
‘It’s building on the relationship that we’ve had over previous years and building for the future. The relationship has worked really well and we would like to build on that,’ said Australian Monitor’s Shane Myers. ‘I see them as a good company with the ability to grow and be our distributor throughout the whole of the Middle East.’
‘We took Oman and Qatar last year and we have done good business in those areas. Now we hope to expand the other countries as well,’ added VV & Sons’ PV Davis. ‘It’s a good chance for us to grow into the other markets.
‘At a group level we have offices in most of the countries so it will be easy for us to start operations there,’ continued Mr Davis. ‘We are planning to keep sales people throughout the other countries and enlarge our business in other countries with these products.’
‘The Middle East is a good market for us and there is always a lot of potential for growth. There is large growth year on year,’ noted Mr Myers. ‘We’ve got a lot of new products and new technologies moving forwards. We’re doing a lot of redevelopment ourselves so working in conjunction with VV & Sons makes a lot of sense. They are good with the products, they have a good technical knowledge and a good team of staff and the ability to service the products we believe in that area.’
