Wild & Marr to host JBL VTX training

SOUTH AFRICA: A two-day certified training seminar focusing on the JBL VTX line array system is set to take place in Johannesburg on March 1st and 2nd. Hosted by South African Harman Professional distributor, Wild & Marr, the event will be held at MGG Productions in the Marlboro district of the city and is the first JBL Certified VTX Training event to be held in South Africa.

Hosting the event will be Harman Pro senior application engineer for tour sound, Ed Jackson, while the course itself will provide an in-depth insight into line array theory, plus practical hands-on experience of the VTX systems and Crown HD V-Racks. All attendees will have an opportunity to rig the equipment and to listen to it once it is flown.

The sessions are open to audio industry professionals on a reservation basis, with preference shown to VTX or Vertec system owners. All attendees must bring a laptop running Windows, with Performance Manager installed and operating prior to the class commencing. A fee of R900 per person will apply.
