Wild Wadi adds Q-Sys backbone

UAE: Dubai-based waterpark, Wild Wadi has upgraded its fire alarm and voice evacuation system with a Q-Sys solution from QSC. The system was supplied through the manufacturer’s local distributor, SGTC Pro.
During its winter renovations, the waterpark identified that its old system wasn’t performing to the standards that it required. As such, it contacted local systems integrator Al Futtaim to help find a solution.
Following its investigation, Al Futtaim decided that it was only the back end of the solution that required an upgrade as the speakers were still performing as required. As such, the systems integrator installed new QSC amplifiers as well as three Q-Sys Cores.
‘Wild Wadi already has a QSC background music system, so the decision to add to this with further QSC products was an easy one – they know the quality,’ said SGTC Professional division manager, Simon Daniel. ‘Q-Sys was the right option as flexibility was key.’
The Q-Sys portion of the project has seen three Cores installed into the three different racks to cover different zones of the facility. ‘They now have a very powerful system there,’ concluded Mr Daniel.
